Nepali factory workers end three-day strike over wages

Nearly 2,000 Nepali workers at a glove manufacturing factory in Sepang have ended their three-day strike after the management promised to settle their outstanding salaries.

An activist has condemned Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow for reportedly saying that migrants should not live in residential neighbourhoods due to being prone to social ills.
According to social activist Stanley Sudhagaran, Chow's remarks appear "racist and xenophobic."
